આ પુસ્તિકામાં સંતોના ઉપદેશને ભારતની ધાર્મિક પરંપરા અનુસાર રજૂ કર્યા છે. લેખિકાએ ભગવદગીતા, ઉપનિષદ, આદિગ્રંથ, જૈન મત તથા અન્ય ધર્મગ્રંથોમાંથી અવતરણો લઈને સમજાવ્યું છે કે એ બધાંના મૂળભૂત આધ્યાત્મિક સિદ્ધાંત એક જ છે. પુસ્તકમાં માનવજીવનનો ઉદ્દેશ, સાચું નામ, ભજન-સ્મરણનો અભ્યાસ, જીવંત સદગુરુ તથા ધર્મ અને નૈતિકતા વિષે ચર્ચા કરી છે
