इस पुस्तक में लेखक ने अपने निजी चिंतन और रोचक घटनाओं के माध्यम से राधास्वामी सत्संग ब्यास के क्रमबद्ध इतिहास तथा इसके चार सतगुरुओं का परिचय दिया है। लेखक ने सतगुरुओं के जीवन की घटनाओं के उदाहरण देकर शिष्य के उन गुणों को प्रस्तुत किया है जो परमार्थ के सब खोजियों को अपनाने चाहिएँ। पुस्तक में आध्यात्मिक वातावरण की वह सुगंध व्याप्त है, जो डेरा ब्यास में सतगुरुओं के निवास और उपदेश से उत्पन्न हुई है।

Through anecdotes and personal reflections, this book gives a chronological history of the Dera in Beas, India and four Masters who lived there. The author uses incidents from the lives of these Masters as examples of the qualities of discipleship that need to be imbibed by all who seek spiritual realization. A sense of the spiritual atmosphere of the Dera, as the place where the Masters lived and taught, permeates the book.
