Mira: The Divine Lover
 Mira Bai, la sainte la plus célèbre de l’Inde, était au XVIe siècle une princesse du royaume Rajput de Mewar. Son Guru était Ravidas, un humble cordonnier. En butte à la désapprobation et la persécution de la cour royale, elle ne renonça pas pour autant à sa dévotion pour son Guru, et elle parvint finalement à l’union mystique. Elle a exprimé son désir intense et la douleur de la séparation d’avec son Bien-Aimé dans des chants qui se distinguent par leur lyrisme et leur passion. Les chants de Mira sont encore chantés à l’heure actuelle dans toute l’Inde.
